Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Located in the heart of Cima-Corgo, in the parish of Alijó, on the right bank of the Douro, with a west-facing sun exposure, on transitional granite-schist soils at an average altitude of 600m, the vineyards were planted in single varietal plots between 1991 and 1992.
  • Winemaking: The harvest of the Piano Moscatel Galego Branco grapes took place between the 1st and 2nd week of September. As soon as they are received, the grapes are protected from oxidation. After destemming, they are sent to the pneumatic press, where they are gently pressed. The must decants for 24 hours. When it reaches the desired turbidity, the wine is separated from the lees that have formed. This clean must is fermented with the inoculation of selected yeasts, and fermentation takes place for about 15 days, always with the temperature controlled not to exceed 14ºC.
  • Tasting Notes: Wine with a brilliant yellow colour, an elegant nose predominantly of mineral notes, white flowers, beeswax and hints of green apple, lime, and lemon. Palate of great structure, texture, and freshness with a vibrant acidity and an enveloping minerality.
  • Maturation: 6-month internship in used French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 8ºC and 10ºC
