Technical Sheet
  • Soil: The vineyard has complex schist-graywatic soils worked on traditional terraces, on steep slopes next to the Douro River, giving the wines unique characteristics of minerality, freshness and elegance.
  • Winemaking: Manual selection of grapes at the winery entrance. Total destemming and 12-hour cold skin maceration. Soft pneumatic pressing, followed by fermentation in lightly toasted French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 15ºC.
  • Tasting Notes: Intense citrus colour with greenish reflections. The nose reveals great complexity, a sober and restrained aroma of white stone fruits supported by distinct minerality and notes of vanilla in perfect harmony. Fruity and complex, notable volume in the mouth, elegant, harmonious and finishes with a crisp freshness that gives it persistence and longevity.
  • Maturation: “Elevage” for 18 months in the same barrels “en sur lie” where the malolactic fermentation partially took place.
