  • Soil: The vineyard has complex schist-graywatic soils worked on traditional terraces, on steep slopes next to the Douro River, giving the wines unique characteristics of minerality, freshness and elegance.
  • Winemaking: Total destemming, prolonged but gentle skin maceration and alcoholic fermentation in robotic presses, at a temperature of 26ºC.
  • Tasting Notes: Defined garnet color. Presents distinct notes of macerated forest fruits, red fruit jelly, subtle toasted notes, lots of spice. Well structured, enveloping silky tannins, excellent acid balance, lots of flavor in the long finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
