“O Melo” is a very personal tribute: it is the family name of Mr. Caldeira, and this wine pays homage to his Grandmother and Father, fundamental figures in his history and in the values that shaped Quinta dos Castelares. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and approximately 4 years in the bottle, it results in a wine of noble, profound and generous character — like those who inspire it.
