  • Soil: The grapes come from different plots of the Viosinho, Rabigato, Gouveio and Malvasia Fina varieties, located in the Meda region, in the Douro Superior, at an altitude of around 550 metres.
  • Winemaking: The grapes for Quinta Vale d'Aldeia Reserva White are harvested by variety and plot in 20 kg boxes. Once completely destemmed, they are crushed. The must is then lightly pressed and decanted until it reaches the required clarity. It ferments at a temperature of between 13ºC and 14°C in a vat for around 3 weeks in order to enhance the aromas.
  • Tasting Notes: Clear, citrus-colored with an intense aroma of ripe tropical fruits and very well-integrated notes of wood. The acidity is balanced, presenting creamy and mineral. Long and persistent finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 8ºC and 10ºC. Must be decanted.
