  • Soil: The grapes come from decomposed Quartz, Granite and Clay vineyards.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were harvested in the first week of September, manually and in 20 kg boxes. The grapes were then transferred to an open-topped stainless steel tank and gas was introduced daily to initiate carbonic fermentation for a period of 2 weeks. After these 2 weeks, the grapes were gently trodden and the blanket was kept wet by removing wine must from the bottom of the tank with a bucket for a period of 2 weeks. After these 4 weeks, the grapes were pressed and the wine must was transferred to used French oak barrels, where both fermentations (alcoholic and malolactic) were completed.
