The Lés-a-Lés Quinta das Marés Late Harvest 2021 has a beautiful amber color with golden touches. Notes of apricot and candied fruit are combined with hints of dried fruit and a light herbal touch. On the palate, it is unctuous and extremely sweet, balanced by perfect acidity. On the finish, flavors of walnuts and hazelnuts reveal themselves, with a very long finish.

Technical Sheet
  • Soil: Although wines have been made here for over 100 years, the region was only granted DOC status in 1989. The vineyard is planted on the southern side of the foothills of the Serra de Montejunto and is protected from the Atlantic influence by the mountains of the Alenquer Valley. The soils are clay-limestone with low fertility and a gentle slope, giving them a northern exposure. The vineyard consists of two historical grape varieties from the region: Vital and Jampal, but currently they have little significance in the vineyard.

  • Tasting Notes: Amber color with golden hues. Notes of apricot and candied fruit, along with hints of dried fruit and a light herbal touch. On the palate, it's unctuous and extremely sweet, balanced by perfect acidity. On the finish, flavors of walnuts and hazelnuts emerge, with a very long finish.
  • Maturation: Aged for 30 months in used French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 10ºC and 12ºC
