  • Soil: With grapes from the high-altitude Douro, namely from vineyards planted in 1896, it originates from 15 varieties, including Folgazão, Dona Branca, Verdelho, Siria, etc., planted at an altitude of 800m in purely granite soil.
  • Winemaking: After manual harvesting and transport to the winery in small boxes (18kg-20kg), the bunches were destemmed. Fermentation was spontaneous in 225L used French oak barrels, without temperature control.
  • Tasting Notes: It presents citrus fruits on the nose with great intensity, fresh notes and a lot of minerality, it is well balanced in the mouth with a very long, persistent body and endless freshness.
  • Maturation: Aged for 10 months in used French oak barrels, on fine lees, followed by aging in the bottle for 3 months.
  • Serve: Between 8ºC and 10ºC

  • Conservation: It can be consumed immediately or within the next 10 to 20 years, as long as it is stored lying down in a cool, dry place, away from light and without temperature fluctuations.
