Quinta de Ventozelo Tinto Cão is a wine with a bright and open ruby ​​colour. Very expressive and fruity on the nose, reminiscent of fruit bonbons, which lingers throughout the tasting. Fresh vegetal notes also stand out on the palate, elegantly wrapped in silky tannins, but full of character and balanced acidity.

  • Soil: The grapes come from an extreme of the Tinto Cão variety.
  • Winemaking: Manual harvest, during the month of September. The grapes were received at the winery, on the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of bunches and then “berry by berry” by an optical selection machine. Fermentation was carried out in a wine press, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control.
  • Tasting Notes: Bright and open ruby color. Very expressive and fruity on the nose, reminiscent of fruit bonbons, which lingers throughout the tasting. Fresh vegetal notes also stand out on the palate, elegantly wrapped with silky tannins, but full of character and balanced acidity.
  • Maturation: Partial aging of 12 months in French oak barrels.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
