Bluníssima is a wine with a deep ruby colour, with an aroma of ripe red fruit, forest and menthol notes and pleasant hints of leather. Well-integrated wood brings sweet spices, all set against a limestone background. In the mouth it is angular and elegant, with a captivating body and freshness, structured, with robust but delicate tannins. The finish is enveloping and long-lasting.

  • Soil: Located on the Moinho do Céu site, in the Arruda dos Vinhos region, flanked by the Atlantic and the Tejo. The sedimentary geological units date back to the Jurassic. The vineyard is located in a narrow strip called the Amaral coral limestones on clay-limestone soil. It is located on a sunny and windy plateau at an altitude of 313 metres. It has a NW – SSE orientation and is trained in a bilateral cordon.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were hand-picked and sorted into small 20 kg boxes. In the winery, the grapes were hand-picked again and then destemmed. The grapes were crushed (passively) before being transported to the tank. They spent a day and a half pre-fermentative maceration and then fermented at a temperature of 25ºC. The malolactic transformation, which was the finishing step, was carried out in a cement tank.
