  • Soil: The grapes come from vineyards located in the Douro Superior.
  • Winemaking: After a long maceration, lasting 22 days, in the cold, the wine fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
  • Tasting Notes: Full-bodied and elegant from the Douro region, with excellent structure, an extremely fragrant aromatic bouquet and crushed tannins. This wine features aromas of ripe black fruits, delicious balsamic nuances, notes of vanilla, spices and dried tobacco leaves, as well as extraordinary acidity.
  • Maturation: Aged in new French oak barrels, where it remained for 15 months before being bottled with only light filtration, which means that, over time, it is a wine subject to creating a certain amount of deposit.
