  • Soil: An original bet on a classic French grape variety, planted on a half-slope, in clay-limestone soils, around 5 km from the Atlantic Coast and at an average altitude of 90 m.
  • Winemaking: This wine is the result of careful vinification using the classic “tanning” process, with partial destemming. The resulting must fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature (26-28ºC) for 12 days. 20% of the batch was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months at the legendary Adega Regional de Colares.
  • Tasting Notes: An elegant and delicate wine, with notes of cassis, pine needles and light hints of woodland, tomato and bay leaf. On the palate it is dry, lively and spicy. Very herbal and balsamic. Saline, full of complexity and freshness.
  • Maturation: 20% of the batch was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months at the legendary Adega Regional de Colares.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC
