Barbeito 20-Year-Old Malvasia is a golden wine with greenish hints, an open and spicy bouquet, notes of discreet wood, salted caramel, sultanas, dried figs, cinnamon and nutmeg. It has an intense flavour of sultanas, a persistent sweet and sour taste, and balanced acidity. Fresh and elegant finish.

  • Tasting Notes: Golden colour with greenish tinges, with an open and spicy bouquet, discrete woody notes, salted caramel, sultana raisins, dried figs, cinnamon and nutmeg. It has an intense dried fruit flavour, a persistent sweet-and-sour taste and a balanced acidity. Fresh and elegant finish.
  • Maturation: As with the previous ones, this 20-year-old Malvasia was the result of a reflective exercise. Ricardo Diogo always seeks to choose the Malvasias he likes best, some of which are the last litres remaining in the casks. Once again, he opted for blending younger wines with older ones, thus achieving, in this marriage of very distinct generations
  • Serve: Between 14ºC and 16ºC

  • Conservation: The wine should be decanted. It will keep well for several months after opening.
  • Food Pairing: Excellent as a digestive, it pairs well with strong cheeses.
