  • Winemaking: We sought to create a blend with elegance and finesse in the aroma, but with a solid structure, which was only achieved through a very careful selection of wines. The blend's structure was built on three Verdelhos, two from 1993 and one from 1996, aged in Barbeito's warehouses. Greater acidity and aromatic elegance were provided by a 1991 Verdelho. Finally, a late 19th-century Verdelho was added, consolidating the structure and bringing a distinct finish to this blend.
  • Tasting Notes: Amber in colour, the wine has a fresh and polished bouquet with hints of sea air, acacia, pine nuts and dried apricots. On the palate it is salty, with a fresh and well-integrated acidity and a pungent, constantly dry and persistent finish.
  • Maturation: Barbeito 30-Year-Old Dueto is a special batch of 30-year-old Verdelho, made from old wines from the casks and demijohns in their warehouses.
  • Serve: Between 14ºC and 16ºC
  • Winemaker: Ricardo Diogo V. Freitas and Susana Esteban
  • Conservation: The wine should be decanted. It will keep well for several months after opening.
  • Food Pairing: Excellent as an appetizer. Pairs well with strong cheeses and/or cigars.
