TIC-TAC Merlot is a ruby-colored wine that is elegant and complex. The aroma reveals forest fruits, pepper jam, spices, mocha and pleasant balsamic notes.   • Soil: Located in Campelos, the vineyard, with 0.23ha, has 920 vines that are just over 20 years old. It is located 7km from the Atlantic Ocean and in clay-limestone soil. It was planted at the foot of a gentle slope facing south, with the lines oriented west-east. It is trained in bilateral cordon.
  • Winemaking: The grapes were hand-picked and sorted into small 14 kg boxes. In the winery, after a new manual qualitative sorting, the grapes were completely destemmed and gently crushed. A short pre-fermentation maceration was carried out, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. During this period, pumping over was carried out at varying lengths and intervals. The malolactic transformation, for finishing, was carried out in used French oak casks. It matured in these same used French oak casks from October 2015 to January 2018.
  • Tasting Notes: It has a ruby ​​colour and is elegant and complex. The aroma reveals forest fruits, pepper jam, spices, mocha and pleasant balsamic notes. In the mouth it is angular and elegant, with a captivating freshness, salty and structured, with polished tannins and distinct smoky notes. The finish is long, delicate and delicious.
  • Maturation: It matured for almost 2 years in stainless steel containers, to enhance its sensory quality and increase its complexity. To preserve its quality, it was bottled without treatment, which could lead to the formation of a natural deposit.
  • Serve: Between 16ºC and 18ºC. The day before consumption, place the bottle upright and open 1 hour before serving.

  • Conservation: Although it can be consumed immediately, it has the potential to evolve positively in the bottle for several years, as long as it is stored properly.
