  • Soil: Located on the Moinho do Céu site, a pristine hill in the Rio Grande da Pipa Basin, which forms part of the Tejo River Basin. The vineyards are located at high altitudes on slopes of varying steepness, flanked by the Tejo to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Serra de Montejunto to the north, on clay-limestone and limestone soils.
  • Winemaking: Hand-picked, with selection, into small 20 kg boxes. In the winery, the grapes were again hand-picked and then destemmed. The crushing (passive) was the result of transport to the tank. They enjoyed a day of pre-fermentation maceration and then fermented at a temperature of 23ºC. The malolactic transformation, to finish, was carried out in a cement tank. After transformation, Aragonez matured in used French (80%) and American (20%) oak casks from October 2017 to November 2018. Tinta Miúda aged in used French oak casks for the same period.
